because U Wanna Savor What I Seep

Ms . E . Badu is finally back at it.  After her highly acclaimed (and may I add, one of my top 5 neo-soul albums of the past decade,) 2006 New Amerykah Part One: World War 4) fans around the world have turned into fiends for the second part of her genius crack of knowledge, honesty, and wisdom she expounds.  Whether its about love, loss, famine, politics, religion, spirituality, or intimacy, she delivers.  And she’s BEEN delivering since 1997.

She is without a doubt a living legend amongst not only the music world, but our society in general.  The topics she touches on has to do with everyday life.  It’s damn near impossible for you to listen to a track of hers and not have some type of emotion evoke within you. . . . . unless you have… no… soul, of course…. but that’s another story.

She recently held a listening session for New Amerykah Part Two: Return of the Ankh

(of which I was mistakenly forgotten on the guestlist...

Some idiot almost f’d it up for the rest of the INVITED media by recording a song on their phone and leaking it to world-wide-blogging world.  The quality was horrible and you couldn’t hear a damn thing anyway.  (First i thought, “oh i understand, so many people are anticipating its release.”  Then i thought, “How dumb are you?  You were personally invited and you’re gonna fk up your chance to be RE-invited?”  DUMMY.

The official release date has yet to be determined.  But we all know it’s coming.  Soon.  And I’ll be here.  Waiting.  Impatiently.

I predict late February.  Mark my words!  Stay tuned.
